Job Description
Gardner-Watson Decking, Inc is seeking a new Construction Crew Member to support our sheet metal decking installation projects in multiple location around the country.
This role involves the safe installation of sheet metal decking on steel framing and performing shear stud installation.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working at heights and in varied weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lay and attach metal decking on steel structures
- Operate hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools safely and effectively
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Accurately report time and attendance daily
- Comply with OSHA, customer, and company safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Schedule
- Full-time, hourly, working daytime shift only
- Projects typically last 2-3 months each but some last much longer. When a project ends, each crew travels to a different project in another location.
Requirements
- 100% nationwide travel required\nStrong work ethic and a positive attitude\nAbility to lift at least 75 lbs and work at heights over 40 feet\nExperience working with hand, power, pneumatic, and powder-actuated tools\nMust be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions\nBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus\nOSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred\nWelding Certification preferred\nAerial Lift Certification preferred
