Job Description
Trillium Construction is seeking Fiber Installers near New Albany, OH.
Scope of work
- Install fiber optic and low-voltage cabling (single-mode and multi-mode) in data center environments
- Pull, route, dress, and secure fiber and copper cabling per TIA/EIA standards
- Install cable trays, ladder racks, conduits, and raceways
- Terminate basic fiber connectors (LC, SC) under supervision
- Label cables, patch panels, and enclosures accurately
- Assist with fiber testing activities (OTDR, power meter, light source)
- Follow installation drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of data center spaces
- Comply with safety requirements and site-specific protocols
- Support technicians and leads during splicing and testing operations
Schedule: Mon - Sat, 60h / week
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in commercial low voltage
- OSHA 10/30
- FOA CFOT + CFOS/T (Testing) or CFOS/S (Splicing)
- ETA FOT-OSP or FOT-ISP
- BICSI Technician (TECH) or BICSI Installer 2 (INST2)
- Fusion Splicing Certification (manufacturer or FOA/ETA)
- Advanced Fiber Testing Credentials (OTDR trace analysis)
- NICET Level II-III (ITS or Low Voltage)
- Fluke Advanced Fiber Certification
- Tools of the trade
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings
