Traveling Structural Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling Structural Welders for projects located in or around Pocatello, ID. This is a first shift opportunity

Job Scope:

• Perform flux-core welding on light and heavy structural steel beams and columns in a shop environment
• Complete structural steel prefabrication for data center projects according to applicable drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Inspect completed welds and maintain required project quality and safety standards throughout each shift
• Fabricate structural components in a production shop environment
• Follow applicable drawings, specifications, and welding procedures
• Produce welds that meet project quality requirements
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Follow all instructions provided by project supervisors

• Requirements:
• Must pass various weld tests
• Previous structural steel welding experience required
• Experience with Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW)
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
• Familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards
• Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
