Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to assemble, install, and repair piping systems in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial piping systems, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems including water, steam, gas, air, and other industrial process systems
• Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical specifications accurately
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools
• Install valves, hangers, supports, and other piping components
• Perform hydrostatic and pressure testing of piping systems
• Weld, braze, or solder pipe systems as required
• Inspect piping systems and components to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and repair piping systems and related equipment
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

• Proven 5+ years' experience as a Pipe Fitter in the shipyard\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and piping drawings\nExperience with pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and installation\nKnowledge of welding and joining techniques\nStrong measuring and layout skills\nAbility to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred\nMust be a US Citizen
